My high school science class never had this much fresh air.  What a blessing to provide space for the Home School Coop in this area of GUA

The House is Coming Together...

So as we are moving forward into the third month of this year, the new housing project is coming together.  We are 8 homes into the 10 development homes; with our ultimate goal of 50 for the year.  A fun fact is that the area of this shop used to be a garden patio - about 200-300 years ago.  Quite the transition.  Yea God!

Things to come...

This is a photo taken from a school with close to 700 children.  The building highlighted is our future center for our feeding program in Santa Maria de Jesus. If things come according to plan we take possession of the property in April. 

When "tweaked" we will have the space to feed as many as 500 children, provide after school tutoring, possibly have a computer lab, and water storage tanks holding thousands of liters of water to assist families in the dry season.

Making a Difference...

This weekend with the help of our friends from South Tulsa Baptist.  Antonio and I with Doug, Darryl, Ted and Kelly from Oklahoma gave away 20 water filters.  Working through this remote community´s church, assitance was given to 20 households providing the Sawyer Point-One Filter.  It was a good day.
